What is a PWA?
Progressive Web App (PWA) is a modern web technology that lets a website behave like a native app — installable on your home screen, opening in its own window, working offline, and launching in under a second. It needs no app store, no manual updates, and no permissions you didn't already grant in the browser.
Why install 24Picture?
- One-tap launch from your home screen or dock — no typing URLs.
- Offline access to the core tools and previously visited pages.
- Faster loading thanks to service-worker caching.
- Full-screen, app-like experience without browser chrome.
- No app store, no 50 MB download, no tracking SDKs.
- Auto-updates — you always get the latest tools and features.
Install on Chrome / Edge (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS)
- Open 24picture.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Look at the right end of the address bar — you'll see an install icon (a monitor with a downward arrow).
- Click it and choose Install. Alternatively open the menu → Cast, save and share → Install 24Picture.
- The app opens in its own window. You can pin it to your taskbar, dock, or Start menu.
Firefox users: Firefox does not currently support PWA installs on desktop. Bookmark the site for fast access instead.
Install on iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open 24picture.com in Safari (Chrome on iOS will not work for installation).
- Tap the Share button (the square with the upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the name if you like, then tap Add. The 24Picture icon now sits on your home screen.
Install on Android (Chrome, Samsung Internet, Edge)
- Open 24picture.com in Chrome or your default browser.
- Tap the three-dot menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm and the app is added. On many devices a system-level prompt will also appear automatically after a few visits.
How to uninstall
Desktop (Chrome/Edge): open the installed app, click the three-dot menu in the window, choose Uninstall 24Picture. Or right-click the icon on Windows Start menu / macOS Launchpad.
iOS: long-press the home-screen icon → Remove App → Delete from Home Screen.
Android: long-press the icon → drag to Uninstall, or use Settings → Apps → 24Picture → Uninstall.
Privacy & Data
Installing 24Picture does not grant the app any additional permissions. Everything still runs in your browser sandbox: image processing remains 100% on-device, no uploads, no tracking SDKs. You can clear stored cache anytime via your browser's site settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
